RAMCACHE 3.01.00 update message

RAMCache software have recently been the source of audio output issues, because the software was creating high latency levels within the computer system. This was sometimes leading to popping and cracking noise in the audio output.

The latest version of RAMCache V3.01.00 addresses this issue by automatically adjusting the maximum of RAM that can be cached in order to give the rest of the system a minimum of 30% of the total available RAM, thus always giving the system enough resources to keep the latency at acceptable low levels.

Please find here the download link to RAMCache V3.01.00: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/utils/RAMCACHE_Win7-81-10_V30100.zip

Your message title indicates that you are referring to the support of M.2 drives. This is fixed in v3.01.06, which is NOT the version linked in the first post. You can find the updated software here:

For a stickied thread, the information contained is harmfully out of date.

You might want to be more clear so people know which issue you're speaking of...

Edit:
OK so you changed the title, however it would be helpful for the guys over at Asus if you provided more details on the issue and also what you've tried.

I am not using RAMCACHE and I have that exact problem with my audio. Any ideas? Should I post this in a different area?
