Which M.2 SSD to use for my ASUS ROG GL752VW?

hi all,

I HAVE AN ASUS ROG GL752VW (PLEASE SEE THE LETTER "L")


i try to connect a SSD samsung 950 PRO but was impossible. then i see alot of people that they have the same problem and many people has many problem to connect SSD on ASUS models G752, gl552, etc... There are a lot of notebook of )asus that not supports SSD Samsung.

well, i called to asus support spain ( i am spain yes my english is horrible xD) and they tell me that send me a email with the "models of SSD" that support the notebook "GL752VW":

-SSD SATA3 128GB M.2 2280 SAMSUNG/MZNLF128HCHP-00004
-MICRON/MTFDDAV256MBF-1AN1ZABYY
-SSD P3X4 128GB M2 2280 NVME P SAMSUNG/MZVLV128HCGR-00000
-SSD P3X4 256GB M2 2280 NVME P SAMSUNG/MZVLV256HCHP-00000

OKEY...

REMEMBER GL752VW MODEL!!!!

i asked to support "pccomponentes" if this models is how the "SSD P3X4 256GB M2 2280 NVME P SAMSUNG/MZVLV256HCHP-00000" that support asus tell me, but they answer me that model isn´t same, this model is "MZVPV256HDGL-00000" I supoused he wants to tell me "SSD P3X4 256GB M2 2280 NVME P SAMSUNG/MZVPV256HDGL-00000"

Can someone tell me if the model of web "pccomponentes" could maybe running in the model Asus ROG GL752VW?

I ask this becuase SSD P3X4 256GB M2 2280 NVME P SAMSUNG/MZVLV256HCHP-00000 i search by google and only find one web un francais that sell it and this is sooooo rare...

Your laptop probably doesn't support PCIE M2 ssd drives. Only SATA3 M2 drives. I ran into the same problem. I bought a 950 pro that did not work because it was PCIE. I bought a EVO M2 SATA3 drive and that works fine. You have to get a different M2 drive. One that is SATA3 NOT PCIE.

I have the exact same laptop and bought the exact same SSD. Had to return the SSD and get a 500gb EVO M2 SATA3 ssd.
