RAMPAGE V EXTREME BIOS 2001
Enhance compatibility with some M.2 device.

http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA2011/Rampage_V_Extreme/RAMPAGE-V-EXTREME-ASUS-2001.zip

I wonder if it is worth upgrading to this BIOS if you don`t have any M.2 devices. Hopefully there are more changes in this BIOS than what the change log says otherwise it will be a waste of time upgrading if you don`t use any M.2 devices.

Thanks for the heads up - but I do wish Asus would give us more info exactly on changes. Enhance compatibility with some M2 device just DOES NOT cut it.Grrrrr.

ive just flashed it and copied my stable settings, as of now the only difference for me was that i could select auto/m.2 at advanced settings>onboard devices settings . but afaik that was already available in previous bios versions. but it never showed up for me. doesnt really matter i guess, still cant see anything in advanced nvme settings, im using a 950 pro. but my write/reading speeds where always been as advertised.

CSM disabled and nothing in mine for a 950 pro.

Does this deserve the usual slow clap for Asus developers?

mine dissapeared too. but it seems it only appears after a fresh bios flash or after clearing cmos, only then theres a option on Advanced tab>Onboard Devices Configuration to change the PCIEx8_4 and M.2 Configuration from Auto to M.2.
that one time, while this option is available you can see the 950 pro under advanced nvme settings. after saving/loading from profile it does never appear again.
