I am looking a the Avexir 4 channel 2660 ram kit number AVD4UZ126661504G-4RDROG which is 4x4gb sticks. May look at the 4x8gb sticks as well. Are these compatible with the x99 board or am I better of staying with the gskill ram I currently have

Says they are ROG certified...but click on QVL and there isn't one...can't imagine they are better than what you have...but plenty of bling factor...

ya I see they say qvl certified but like you I cant match the number of the ram to the R5E qvl list. I am looking to get riidof the red version I have now to get more black in system lol . bling looks good but may not always be the best I guess

Been looking at 32GB Ripjaws V kits....3200 cas 14...but saw this today

Looks promising. Might just have to wait n see where this goes before i upgrade ram. Def wanna get a 32gig kit next time round
