Hello everyone, I'm having a problem with my X99 Rampage V Extreme U3.1 in slot 1 of PCIEX16_1 put a VGA Galax GTX 980 it is working but I noticed that in the bios Tools screen shows not connected video card ! connect it in the slot PCIEx16_3 then is detected as VGA GTX 980 native 8x but in red color. Could someone explain to me why not detect anything in PCIEX16_1 ? It would be some kind of problem with the motherboard or am I doing something wrong? Thank you all!

4 and 8 pin connected at top of motherboard? Other than that idk others will chime in. What bios are you running and any overclock.

Issue - this is only in BIOS. In Windows everything is OK and don't worry about it.
I Have got the same like You sins BIOS 1901

im having the same on my 980ti, doesnt matter what bios im using. i think this is only related to 28lane cpus like the 5820k. but its working fine, dont worry.
