DDR4 and Asus Maximus VIII Gene problem.

Hey,

I got the Asus Maximus VIII Gene mb and my question is that will it work with CMK16GX4M2A2400C14 Corsair memory : https://www.multitronic.fi/fi/products/639243/corsair-ddr4-2400mhz-16gb-2-x-288-dimm-unbuffered-14-1...
or will it need a different memory?
And if so would this one work: https://www.multitronic.fi/fi/products/1245504/corsair-ddr4-2800mhz-4x4gb-288-dimm-unbuffered-16-18-...

Thanks for help already :). I am not so good with computers and cant get my own to boot.

It gives code 55. and without memory it gives code 53.

Might have found the problem. The standoffs where upside down. Hopefully i did not damage the board.

Hello vilidaking

Try with one stick in all four slots and see if you can get it to boot.
