About 1 month after my warranty expired, I lost a row of keys on my G751JY. "esc", 2, W, S, X,Z stopped working and are not responsive.

I've ruled out a defect in the keyboard as I have replaced the entire assembly. A USB Keyboard also works fine, so it's not software.

So, unfortunately, it's either in the connector or somewhere on the MoBo. I've examined the connector and don't see anything wrong.

Does anyone have any advice on what I can check before I make a service call? I'm loath to send it off to be fixed.
