I have seen some threads about shutdown problems but it usually involves turning off fastboot or changing settings in AI suite 3. I don't even have AI suite installed and my computer only shuts down correctly if I leave fastboot enabled this wouldn't be an issue and I would just use fastboot if it wasn't for my other problem, my cloud 2 headset mic doesn't work unless I do a standard reboot forcing me to restart after fastbooting making it pointless.

I am on the latest bios 1504 but the problem was the same on an older bios. If anyone has ideas about how I could fix either one of this issues that would be much appreciated.
