So I bought an Asus G20AJ 1 year and 1 week ago (when it "died") the lights turn on fans do spin at 100% but no display signal from any of the outputs.
I turned it off to clean my desk and the floor, but when I tried to turn it on again it didn't show any output signal ( I tried with every output port and with multiples monitors) Nothing so I contact asus support.
First Round: The girl, with a name I've never heard in my life, tells me it no longer has warranty but she is going to help me "troubleshoot", first off she tells me to take off the battery... YES, I proceed to explain that it doesn't have battery since it's a desktop. Anyway she appologies and we move on, she makes me unplug everything and plug it back on and try again (Like I haven't done it before...) then she tells me I should go to a local service and have it fixed.
Second round: Since where I live service shops have 0% honesty I decide I would send it to Asus US pay for it and then Sell it on my own here ( Because I've been buying parts for a new PC and one of them was a 980ti Matrix ). Again a girl with an even harder to read name is there it took her 20 minutes to tell me that I should see a local service since it's not "feasible" to send it there. I decided to close and start other Chat
Final round: Again another girl with an imposible name answer although she was faster than the second one, she tells me I could send it over but that the Repair estimate is 541.78, FOR A PC WORTH 650. how the F*** it's 541 without taxes and Shipping fees a service. I can buy one brand new for the same price.
So yeah now I will take every part out of the case sell the working ones to at least get something and keep the case as a reminder of never buy from asus again. ( yes, I will sell the 980ti matrix and buy another brand or wait for pascal or WE.)
