    AI Suite temps accurate?

How accurate are AI suite's temps? I notice that the CPU temp on my M8F's QLED matches AI Suite, but when I try something like HardwareMonitor, HWM reports temps that are 10 degrees Celsius higher. Should I trust my board and AI Suite?

    Hello Shadow536

AI Suite gives more or less the cpu socket temp, go with what HWMonitor shows as that gives the cpu core temps.

That makes sense. Thank you for the clarification.

AiSuite is measuring "CPU TEMP", so Tcase I believe. Motherboard temp readings are also from Tcase.

Core temperature measured by HW Monitor, CoreTemp, RealTemp, for example, is Tjunction, measured from the hot spots on each core.

Tcase is calibrated by motherboard manufacturers and isn't really useful to be honest. I wish Asus would switch to displaying core temp instead.
