    A fault of my own is that I'm a highly pessimistic person, so....... I have this bad feeling that after I upgrade to Win10, Ill still have the problem because I ~think its chipset/hardware related to the drive and not really driver related.

    We could probably theorize all day what the issue could be lol.

    I have some reservations about Win10, mainly upgrading from Win8.1 Home OEM and license issues with switching hardware. But, that shouldn't be an issue if I make a USB iso and treat it like any other OEM windows software. Also, some of the updates concern some privacy wise, you hear some bad stories, etc... A whole other thread.
