Hello, My PC is made asus crosshair v z, F-9590 Amd 4.Mhz, 2 Ati Radeon graphics cards R9 280x 3Gb, 16 Gb Ram 2400MHz GKill. I have Windows 10.

When I start the PC I is black screen and does not enter Windows, and plate indicates a Q-code 40 error, and only a graphics card is turned on.

When I restart the PC, Q-code AA and the two graphics cards are switched on and goes into windows normally.

Can anybody help me?

Hi Paco2005 😄

Qcode 40 is not an error, It indicates your system has awakened from S4 sleep state. (Set in your Windows power plan)
When you reboot your system you get AA which is normal transition to ACPI mode and the system then enters Windows. Nothing wrong there.
Does the black screen appear after a reboot or waking from sleep state?

If this is occurring from sleep state, Update your graphics driver or try changing your power plan.
If you have updated then rollback the driver or try a system restore.

There is another scenario regarding Windows 8. Go here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2850674
If problem persists, list your full system specs in your profile for further analysis.

What do you think about https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/0c77735a-be10-4e1e-a4c1-568917f4a54f/boot-...?

I going to format my PC and I will say you something more late if my PC is good.
