Updated to BIOS 1801 and set XMP to RAM, but now it see only 24GB instead of the 32.
The BOOT_DEVICE_LED is on and I have Qcode CE
Any suggestion ?
P.S: is that normal that when I set the XMP profile of the RAM , the CPU will overclock ?
I ask because after setting the XMP I saw that the CPU Strap augmented to 125MHz ( from 100MHz)Last edited by Swiso; 04-15-2016 at 08:30 PM. Reason: CPU Strap

Yes, that is pretty normal for many XMP profiles....I prefer copying down timings from XMP and then setting up manually....and on 100 BCLK

In the BIOS DRAM Timing Control I see that the timings are only in for the CHA CHB and CHD channels. The CHC channel has 0 on all the options.
That mean CHC is not "recognized" or seen ? ( that's the reason for the LED BOOTING DEVICE?)

Not sure.....you will have to take one stick at a time and place in far left red slot...see if they all work...if so try one stick in each red slot...to see if one stick or one slot is not working...

The latency of my ram kit is : 15-17-17-35 1.35v at 3000MHz

I actually copy all primar secondary and tertiary...and input those...but i think most just enter primary....just check down columns...make sure all numbers are the same...

Ok, I tried to put all the values manually but without success....I am only able to make them run at 2400MHz
I ordered one kit of F4-3000C15Q-32GRK...hope to have better luck, apparently these kits are easy to install and make it run at proper speed.
I have a couple of questions regarding some settings in BIOS...
ASM106SE Storage controller :
this device, control ONLY the SATAEXPRESS_E1 port or even the two SATA6G ports E3 and E4 ?
Let say I have no SATAEXPRESS devices,if I disable it, the HDD's connected to ports E3 and E4 will be seen and work normally ?
SATAExpress_1 SRIS Support :
If I dont have any SATAEXPRESS devices connected, can I disable it ?
On the manual of this MB, pag 1-36, it say that the ASMedia SATA6G ports are only for data drives....that mean if I have a Blu Ray burner I should connect it to the Intel X99 SATA ports right ?
I have a Lian Li EX503 external case RAID 1 device (for backups) and it is connected with an eSATA cable to the eSATA port on my front panel....should I connect this port to the Intel X99 or ASMedia SATA6G ?

I dont understand why it should detect a driver to operate in a certain way... I mean...why it cannot load always the xHCI driver ? It give no backward compatibility with USB 2 devices ?
Yesterday I was crazy trying to find the reason why Windows 7 frooze at start-up....later I found out that I still had my Joystick-throttle-pedals connected...
Whay happen this ?
On my previous system (X58) I never had these type of problems with USB 3.0...
Any suggestion ?
