Where is the PG348Q?

Well? 😞 I've seen many people have it and many people have put it on pre-order but I have not been able to locate such a thing for Canada customers.

I've reached out to Newegg and they were no help. Amazon was somewhat of help but I feel like I was just talking to someone who just wanted to get me out the door.

Any Canadians out there that might be able to guide me in the right direction? 🙂

I finally got an e-mail from Amazon this weekend that stated my monitor would arrive between May 10 - June 20. That's still a huge window that doesn't even start for another 2 weeks. I suppose I should be happy to finally have some news, but I wasn't expecting to have to up to another 2 months from now to get it. If I see it elsewhere for a similar price, I may have to get it, and cancel my Amazon order. I'd prefer to get it from Amazon, but I don't know, yet. It's probably not their fault; They may just be getting limited number of them from ASUS and filling their pre-orders as they can.

Heads-up! 5 available at warehouse in (US) Washington State as of this monday afternoon.

I know it's not in Canada, but it's just across the border from British Columbia. The OP's title seemed to be a best fit for my reply.

To be honest, this is quite a nightmare here in Canada (I'm in Quebec).

My reseller keeps trying to get a hold of them (so it's not me "the little consumer" that tries to communicate with them but a large electronic store banner) and Asus keeps giving them wrong information and false shipping dates which my reseller relays to me. My initial April 11th got postponed via an official Asus confirmation for April 18th and nothing is shipped yet (item was "in stock" when I made the purchase on April 3rd). My reseller has been trying to get explanations from Asus since Monday and they can't get a hold of anybody there and it's definitely Asus' fault.

There's nothing worse for a consumer than to be left in the dark without any valid information. Not sure what their logic and strategy is behind this (buying time by hoping people won't switch to Acer?).

Maybe there is a real problem (shortage of stocks on panel, problems on the assembly line, etc.) who knows? But an explanation would have been appreciated.

Simple gestures and actions sometimes make a huge difference. Would have been nice of Asus to step up and give some kind of explanation on the situation via an official statement.

Here In Toronto Some resellers 2 that I know of have the PG348Q as a PC bundle and will not sell the monitor separate. So if I want one now ill have to buy a PC to go along with the PG348Q at a cost of roughly $4000 .

note: I thought I'd update this one last time, not much talk on the pg348q lately. Also it appears stores are beginning to get regular stock in now.

Edit: Changed reply to provide direct links to these online stores offering the ASUS ROG Swift PG348Q.
