ROG GL552VW-DM210T M.2 SSD Upgrade options?

Well early this year (Feb 2016) I purchased an ROG GL552VW-DM210T laptop that had 128GB SSD and 8GB ram etc with the intention of upgrading the memory to 16GB and the M.2 SSD to a bigger/faster one.

Since then I have upgraded the memory to 16GB but I have been reading a lot of people have been having problems getting the laptop to recognize certain SSDs. Which has stopped me in my tracks pretty much.

Ultimately I would love to install a Samsung 950 PRO 256-512GB SSD in this machine (or something along them lines) but I've read that only certain motherboards in these laptops are recognizing them.

Has anyone with this model successfully done this? or had any success with installing any M.2 PCIE based SSDs?

The exact module I purchased was an Crucial 8GB DDR4-2133 SODIMM (CT8G4SFD8213) I picked one up off eBay for $59AUD and it worked first go no mucking around required.

(32GB Kit)

(16GB Kit)

From what I have read either of these kits will work in thee GL752VW. I doubt you would see any real world performance between 2400MHz & 2800MHz
