Combination goofing around and trying to decide on openCL/Cuda setup, I brought my 5930k R5E to the top of the 5930k list and my 5960x to #2.

No "cooling heroics" (to quote Gobe). 1.35v on the 5960x 1.36v on the 5930k. No ice, EK on the 5960, H110i on the 5930k.

In fact, we had the opposite of heroics on the cable management and case setup front... Not sure what the best antonym is for heroics would be? Ghetto? PCIe extension cables with molex power worked great, but obviously create mounting challenges.

I did find that 1/2 my 128G kit overclocked beautifully to 3200 CAS 14/1T @ 1.37, but hated even decimal points on BCLK (100.1, not 100.2). It would forgive some of those at CAS 15/1T. This is the same 3000/CAS14/2T kit that won't even post at 3000

Anyway, had some fun, learned some new stuff about this system and found openCL/Cuda scales fine to 4 cards.

Here [wince] is my ghetto benching setup - don't judge me... ;-):
