PG279Q Dead Pixel

So I owned the PG279Q for a little under 6 months now and I got it hoping it would last me for a long, long time.

But yesterday I've had a dead pixel pop up. Even tho it's hard to tell with a single dead pixel I'm pretty sure it's completely black so there's not a lot I can do.
I still ran one of those flashing pixel-unstuck apps but no change.

So naturally I read through the warranty looking if I might be able to RMA the product after <6 months for a dead pixel since it was quite expensive.
Unfortunately according to their 3 year warranty you need to have at least 6 dead pixels so you could make warranty claims.

Am I straight out of luck? Do I have to stick with a dead pixel until either 5 more dead pixels pop up within the next 2,5 years or the monitor completely
breaks down in some way?

I thought asking here if any of you had luck with claiming warranty on a dead pixel after more than like 30 days had any luck.
Hope you can help me.
