The light goes off on the stand each time on shutting down. Is there a setting to allow the light to come on and stay on when the monitor is first powered on? Thanks.

What do you mean? what is your expected behaviour?

e.g. I am looking into how to set the stand to turn off when the display goes to sleep after PC shutdown.

I guess it's staying on due to being in sleep mode in your situation. I am wondering how to make the stand light come on and stay on after being completely shut down.
