G20 Arcrylic Cover/Case Mod Idea. Advise/recommendation is appreciated.

Hi,

I would like to make a arcrylic cover with fans at the base. The cover will have a docking like base where the fans will help blow in air.
On the top and back parts would be another sets of fans. Similar to this
But my design would be a bit compact. Like this (apologies for my bad illustration).
Will be adding dust filters on each airway.

To anyone who has experienced working with arcrylic or modding. I have a few questions.
Is there any cheaper material than arcrylic?
What other materials would u recommend?
What thickness would u recommend?
Will this build help in anyways in regards to airflow and dust reduction?


Purpose of this cover is to lessen dust buildup inside the unit while it is still under warranty.

Cool, thats what i had wanted to do with a base housing everything, but went a simpler router. Should look great though when done.
