ASUS ROG GL551JW-WH71(WX) upgrade, swap the dvd drive out for a hard drive?

hey guys i was wondering if i could upgrade this laptop to have 2 hard drives one a ssd and the other the hdd i saw on some other website posst that i could swap the dvd drive out for a hard drive
tray and the put an ssd in but is this possible and what are your suggestions for upgrades

Yes, this is possible.

"Upgrading the Optical Drive
If you are in favour of using a Bluray ROM/Burner, or using the optical drive bay as a second HDD bay via a 3rd party caddy/adapter, then you can simply unscrew the single screw (yellow) securing the optical drive and slide it out. The connector is standard mobile SATA."


You will need something like this; http://www.amazon.com/Protronix-Optical-Drive-Universal-12-7mm/dp/B004XIU4T2

just make sure that the thing fits, there seems to be two sizes for those, the 12.7mm one and smaller 9.5mm version.
For 551 series, it would seem that the optical slot is 9,5mm. quote: "CD Slot Tray │ 9.5mm thick (NOT 12.7mm)"

so do you know if its possible to put a m2 ssd in this laptop and what brand i should go with

AS far as i know, there is no M.2 connector in that model.
