    Mad,

I have it where I had the RVE at 4.4 and it's 10C less thermal output which is good. I've yet to try to go up a stable higher OC but I've toyed with it and RealBench stability test at 4.6 with 1.35 total adaptive.

The main reason I stay at 4.4 is because while the Realbench is running stability test I can use the browser and other apps without having pauses of the mouse! It's like nothing is running at all!

I use an H110GT and have 4 3k rpm push/pull noctua industrial fans on it and 4 140mm 1500RPM redux fans in the case blowing inward to provide pressure to the aio. To me stable is running OCCT and realbench at the same time for hours and not going over 75C which I haven't got to yet.

The max I pushed it was almost 300W on the chip and it was going 80C at that 4.6 but I was not doing a careful OC just set it at 1.35 static. Once I've had time to toy with it I will post more details.

Most noted is the PSU draw is quite a bit less. Where previously an idle load was 10 I'm showing 7 and a moderate static load was 24 now it shows:

    upsc F6C1000-TW-RK@localhost | grep load
    ups.load: 13

Same settings as the RVE in the bios and UPS load is quite a bit lower and 10C lower temps.. Great job ASUS!!!!

Like Chino I upgraded and haven't looked back!

Are any of you running a UPS on your new boards with a fully loaded system like sli, expansion cards, overclocking... etc? I am wondering what size UPS I would need for my system. I have about 12 fans too and an ax1500i. Just want about 10 to 20 mins of up time with a brown or black out.

Running a 1500 UPS here with a nifty power-meter on the front. Showing 396W running stressapp in linux with all of the following included:
    6950x
    128Gram
2x980 (4K resolution, but not doing any heavy GPU computes right now0
water cooled - EK pump, CPU+Video
    2xSSD
10GbE NIC (generates a fair amount of heat all on its own)
4k 40inch Samsumg 40JU7000 I think? (also plugged into the UPS)

Obviously no video load which could add another ~200-300 to that I suspect. 980tis in the other system are hotter, but not on this UPS.

SSD's also aren't busy, so this ~400W is not peak, but honestly, I expected a little higher.

yeah I was pleasantly surprised too coming from my x79 with a 980ti that ran typically on 735-800w on load. Now I've seen 375-425w on load and the box in general doesn't even get hot. Can't use my case as a foot warmer in the winter anymore , LOL

    Right....mine is coming tomorrow...

So far from this thread I expect it to run

200MHz more on the core same voltage...!!....looking forward to 5.3GHZ

10 degrees cooler...!!....looking forward to lower than ambient temps at idle

And drop a few hundred watts at load...!!....will run it on a 400W PSU

Yeah it seems they have corrected the things wrong with the RVE in the RV10. Mine has been bug free so far.
