Thread: ASUS ROG Rampage V Edition 10

With the rampage 4 you could not have an offset voltage using BLK frequency at 125. Has this changed with the edition 10?
Also using 3 x SLI with an M.2 Drive in the M.2 slot (40 lanes CPU). Will I have 16x8x16 or 16x8x8?
Will eventually go back to 2 way SLI when the Titan Pascal is released but that could be 12 months away.
Edition 10 on order but 2 weeks away.
p.s just noticed on page 1.8 of the manual... regardless of what I was asking, it's saying for 3 way 16x8x8. Is this a miss print?Last edited by ExcessiveGBH; 07-16-2016 at 12:17 PM.

What you think about next tool for Rampage 6...
Example some newer version of OC Panel where customers could control all fan headers and voltage increasing for most important settings in BIOS.
That would be AWESOME. I like how my case look with ASUS OC Panel installed. And new tool don't need to be too much complicate at all. Nothing with colorful screen and etc...
Simple as OC Panel only to control better everything.

I actually like having a long cable on the OC panel so I don't have to sit in front of the case to hit the reset or power button for the many many failed OC attempts at trying to get a stable extreme OC. Plus it looks really cool sitting on the desk near the phone.
I agree with you though I'd like to be able to change more things in the bios and the VGA Hotwire is only going to be useful for a select few so perhaps a new firmware update can add more bios functionality and keep the same OC panel.
I think the best thing about this board is that I can push my 5820k and ram further than I could with the RVE USB/3.1 board and they use less current and they produce less heat.
The aura lights look really cool when you set it to temp you can see instantly where the cpu temp is at!Last edited by gene-iv-ocz-revo3-240; 07-16-2016 at 08:13 PM.

I was just asking to myself if it really worth this motherboard over the RVE and I saw your post. How much you can oc your 5820K? I have a 5930K at 4,375 GHz, If I try 4,5 I just got errors on the realbench.

I just built a new system using the Rampage V Edition 10. I love the motherboard. The layout is great. Boot times not so great. I read through various threads and changed some things in the bios to no avail. Also, when I turn off the pc the rgb lighting stays on. Does it go off after a few minutes or do I have to manually shut it down?

EVGA 1070 FTW's in SLI

I must say I'm quite impressed with this motherboard. Not only is it stylish, but it has increased my overclock by 200MHz with the same voltage. Rock stable.
