    Thank's Chino.

Well that sucks having to go back two OS’s to have USB 3 working…big oversite in the RD labs.

    Hello

USB 3.0 works fine with both Win8 and 10 without drivers needing to be installed.

    First thouts with RVE10..

Difference to RVE? Well uhh...none except for the disco ;-). Also did the mistake of installing some software from the USB...suddendly I had Kaspersky Antivirus too installed (on top of Avira).

One "issue" I noticed with my case was that the board is so thick from the backside that you can't really have any rubber grommets installed in the case where the mobo goes on top of them or the corners of the mobo will not fit properly. I left the grommets there though but I guess it's best if I removed them.

Also the RAM detection issue is back after tedious problem solving with same CPU and RAM on the RVE. Might have to RMA the CPU in the long run. :-(

They seem to have vanished from the forums. My board seems to be failing (USB device go off and on randomly) and not sure if I should RMA or it's a driver problem. noone to ask..

Main difference beyond the light show, is the memory layout. May not affect you, though. Difference manifests past DDR4-3200 with good kits and if one knows how to tune sub-timings.

That could be an option, but think as this board is mainly meant for gaming/clocking it would have been nice to have had the oc panel.

I had to RMA it but I'll give this a go when I get it back.

Shame it won't work in slot four like before, it was nicely hidden below the second GPU.

Took it back to NCIX and they said they would have to confirm the problem. They put it on the test bench and boom, "Motherboard overheating error, push F1 to get into BIOS"

Went into BIOS and temperature sensor 1 reading 127C like it had been. Took them all of five minutes for their tech folks to say, "This isn't right."

Good news they had one in their warehouse and it got shipped yesterday so i'll get it Monday or Tuesday.
