I have never personally had an Asus motherboard fail on me. They do have the worst support in the industry and MSI is a close second. So I test the heck out it in the first 14 -30 days depending on the return policy and after that they seem to stay stable and keep working. That's just my experience. I always buy from either Newegg or Amazon which have good return and exchange policies. If you are an Amazon Prime member and it was sold by Amazon they cross ship your replacement without even asking for it. I would never buy anything expensive from Asus like a laptop that would have a higher likelyhood of needing support someday.

Well EVGA X99 FTW K VS Rampage V 10 ... for me it's simple, the first in stock will win my money ! But for just what we saw i woul prefer Rampage V 10 ... No idea about release date and price ?

Those really aren't a good comparison though. When the EVGA refresh of their Classified board comes out that would be the competitor to the Rampage V 10.

Last ROG board that had dual lan was during the socket 775 days. I had a Asus Rampage Formula, which also had dual lan. But after that, they stop having dual lan on ROG boards. It's nice that Asus decides to add dual lan back on ROG boards.
If my old socket 775 build can last up to this long, this will be the board I want to get. Comparing to the Asus X99 Deluxe II, this has a better lay out. On the Deluxe II, 2 of the SATA ports are located below the X99 PCH heatsink. Those 2 ports are in a odd position as they might interfere with long length GPUs.
Why are there 8 dip switches? I can tell 4 of them is for the disabling of the 4 PCIe x16 slots, but what is the other 4 dips switches for? Are they for OC
    like the old school days?
I wished it had gold plated audio ports on the RVE10, from the pics, looks like it does not.

Most likely the new RVE successor will be unveiled at Computex 2016. That's when they are celebrating the ROG 10 year anniversary. http://press.asus.com/events/Computex/rog-2016/

I don't know what the other dip switches are for but on my M8E there are 4 dip switches for pcie lanes, and 2 for memory sockets, so it's possible they are for memory slots but who knows
I believe we will see the new boards released during or after Computex along with BW_E on June 7th.

No the Strix motherboard was already released. The Edition 10 is the Rampage series board.
