Im runnin 32 gb 4x8 3200 at tighter timings and at 1t no issues. Love the gskill ripjaw 5 on my x99.
Maximus XI Formula, I9-9900k, Phantex Evolove X, Seasonic Titanium 850W, Custom loop PE360+SE360 Rad, G.Skill Trident Z F4-3200C14 32g, Nvidia Reference RTX 2080 TI, Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1Tb, Windows 11

I have a 64GB kit Ripjaws V (F4-2800C14Q-64GVK) and runs smoothly

I Got this email from gskill when i ask tridentz compatibility to r5e:

Dear Sir,

Your Rampage V Extreme should be compatible with F4-3200C14Q-32GTZ without issue.(latest version of motherboard BIOS)

Mixing memory kits, even of the same model number, may result in compatibility issue. G.SKILL will guarantee the compatibility for single memory kit only.

However, if you planning mixing the memory kits at the same time, you may have to lower the DRAM frequency or raising DRAM voltage to make the system getting stable.

Running F4-3200C14Q-32GVK no problem here....not only no problem but running very well...

However it is more to do with the particular CPU memory controller, IMC, than the motherboard...what you can and can't get away with. Though I see many good results with Ripjaws V on X99

Regards,

I bought a kit of memories (G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 64GB (4 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 Memory) F4-3200C16Q-64GVK, and I want to know if it can work on the ASUS X99-Pro, and if I can use the quad channel ?, Do I have to make any modifications?. I wait fast answer.

Thank you.

This kit is not on GSkill QVL list for X-99, it may work as said above, it probably won't work using the XMP profile, there is no special trick for 4 channel except you must use 4 modules and must be installed in the correct slots on the motherboard, no modifications, but you may have to fine tune some bios settings

For the best chance of success purchase a kit made for your platform

Unfortunately memory prices have increased quite a bit recently so I can see people purchasing less expensive kits which may lead to purchasing the wrong kit for their platform, don't make this mistake, if cost is the issue purchase a lower speed or less quantity until prices come back down but purchase a kit made for your platform
