Rampage IV Extreme normal operation temperatures

Hello,

Recently I've been having some problems with my PC restarting randomly when trying to play games. The restarts come with no shutdown/restart log in the event logs viewer leading me to pointing to either power or overheating problems. Following this lead I found that one of the measured temperatures on my Rampage IV Extreme motherboard appears to be running hot and I was wondering if this is a normal operating temperature or if it could be the cause of my problems. Below is a screen capture of the temperature as measured by Corsair Link 4.

57516

Temp #2 stays around 60C regardless of load, is this normal? All of the other temperatures are within normal ranges when idle and under load. I also suspect either my GPU or power supply could be causing the restarts.

I did a bit more digging and found out that the temperature being read as "Temp #2" in Corsair Link 4 is equivalent to the CPUTIN temp used by HWmonitor and is in fact a bogus temperature reading.
