Dealing with this for over 6 months (3301 to Testing 3402)

This is my first post and it will be my last on this thread, perhaps the last to this forum.

I've having this issue for 6 months, I've been using 3301 for two weeks, restarts are still an occurrence, i just updated to 3402 as of an hour ago typing this message with it.

Please release 0044, if this is beta bios is not released, and i experience another restart at 3402, i'm buying a new MoBo and completely done with you ASUS.

***By the way these captchas are garbage, I've had to refresh them 20 times just to find one i can actually read to type, so i can post this message!!***

My understanding that 0044 was just beta version of 3402.

In my travails, I've identified that the probability of reboots increases the more the computer goes into S3 sleep mode. I do use that extensively since I find it convenient to keep the machine up, but not consuming a "large"(ish) amount of power. I've been running very smoothly for a couple of days, but I've also been running a lot of work-related long-term processes and thus the machine hasn't been sleeping much. And it's been very stable.

Also, it tends to happen right at the moment I'm giving it USB input (keyboard, most frequently, but also mouse input).

Perhaps it's related to the USB bus?

    Cheers.

That would track with why I haven't had any problems. I have always had all modes of sleep and hibernation disabled.

The issue could be related to usb , but i belive it is more likely some badly initialized variable in bios or other chips.
I have the same problem for month , then changed bios settings relating to auto restart saved , reloaded etc ..
For some reason the issue of auto restarting just dissapeared.
What exact setting in bios not sure but it coud have been thisone.

Maybe this setting... I would try set it on other set , save bios , relaod , and then save the intended settings.
But the description for this setting is counter intuitive , i wonder if even sus people know what it does.
It is enthusiast platfrom so asus creates problems so everyone can solve lol...
I am too afraid to change any setting now , maybe something get destabilized..
Hopefully someday will be fixed bios , reliable aisuite etc , before the product get discontinued or too old.

Can you make an effort to identify which setting it was that you modified? That setting you posted a link to (Restore AC Power Loss) sounds like it shouldn't be causing problems, but it well could be. However, if we could confirm which setting it was, that'd be even better.

    Thanks!

    Have it currently set to:
    erp ready - disabled
restore ac power loss - power off (played around with this setting multiple times , the description does not make sense to me)
power on by pci-e/xxx - disable
power on by rtc - disabled
