The CPU clocks don't amount to a hill of beans. If you are that obsessed get the 6870HK that is unlocked and has been overclocked to 4Ghz fairly easily. Just have to open up the purse strings by another $1000 to get it but you also get the 8GB Vram on the GTX 980m. You must also take into account the different architecture between the G751 HM87 Maxwell chipset and the G752 CM236 chipsets.
One huge difference is the PCIe is now Gen3 with the way the lanes are configured totally changed as well as nearly double the speed. Thunderbolt 2 vs thunderbolt 3, double the speed. Not going to post it all out, research it a bit and you will see all the advantages.
You get what you pay for, want cheap you get cheap. when you start going to the bottom tier you end up with one memory stick in the no serviceable area and lose the ability to run dual channel.
The Bluray is only needed if you watch Blurays or burn them, I do both and use mine. Optical drives for loading todays games is a painful process. If you have a decent internet speed its far faster to DL it than install from discs.

When I searched for the G752VY with the Core i7 6820HK (Netherlands) I couldn't find one either. Eventualy I bought one in the UK (overclockers.co.uk) [G752VY-T7049T]. The UK keyboard layout does not differ that much from the US International keyboard. I found this notebook: G752VY-GC353T! It has a Core i7 6820HK and I think a QWERZ keyboard. But where you can get your hands on one, I do not know.

So, i´ve thinking a lot, and i will for the G752Vy model. Today, i´ve heard about the new pascal notebook GPU that will be launched in august/september.
Do you think that a laptop with that new GPU will cost around 2000 euros, or will be a really expensive price around 3000-4000? Its better whait for the new laptops?

    thanks

If Ive learned nothing else over the years when it comes to technology if you wait until the next best thing comes out you will be waiting the rest of your life. I was on the fence over buying a second G751JY playing the waiting game for the price to come down, it never happened. So I bough the G752VY when a sale came around that had it priced under the top of the line G751JY.
As for pricing, no one knows for sure but I would imagine it will top the price of current models due to the first major GPU upgrade in a few years. Then add to it that rumor mill on release dates of the pascal has been going on for awhile. The Desktop model is now accepting preorders on some sites. When the mobile version is released is still very much speculation.
Personally Ive decided that what I have now will suffice for mobile applications and do well with most games. My next move is when the XG2 external graphics solution is released I will be buying that and can then upgrade to a desktop GPU and do several more upgrades before the rest of the laptop becomes obsolete.

I have in mind this two models.

    This G751JY

    And this G752VY

Locking at those specs, what do you think have better performance in gaming?

Looking at specifically those two models Id jump on the G752VY. Throw out the CPU and GPU as the performance of the two are virtually identical.
Better and larger SSD. One has 256 SATA III and the other has 512GB NVMe, twice the ram at a higher speed also.

Woah, 8 gigs of RAM on the 751JY, for close to $2k? Asus must be minting money from those markets. When you have both at the same price, it is 752VY hands down.

Thank you guys. I will for the G752vy.
In the begining i was afraid because the the processor, but i´ve maked a research in notebookcheck and found that the new processor with lower turbo clock have better performance than the i7 4720hq.
Also, because of the new ddr4 memory and much importante, design and material, and the newest dust release and vapor chamber (ithink that al models with the gtx 980m have this things).
I thinking in the new model, because my last laptop, the G751JT have sended back because noise/fans problems, and the new one i think is better the quality.

    Thanks everybody.

But, the performance of the new model is better, right?
