Hi!

Tell me please, сompatibility: G.Skill Trident Z 16GB DDR4 16GTZB Kit 3200 CL16 (2x8GB) (F4-3200C16D-16GTZB)and motheboard ASUS Maximus VIII Formula. Will it work properly?

Is it possible to configure manually?

Asus's QVL includes olnly this type: F4-3200C16D-16GTZ

Trident z is compatible with ROG z170 motherboards, it's a good choice and works well. 🙂

There is also a 3200MHz trident z kit with 14-14-14-34 timings.

I'm using 16gigs of TridentZ DDR4 @ 3200MHz, CL 16 on Asus Maximus VIII Formula and it is working with charm and buttery smooth. Yes, you can configure manually though there is no need to do so. XMP would do the job for you.
