the G31 will be the killer of the GT51 , I hoped the GT 51 would have a GTX 1000 option at computex 2016 but no instead asus comes out with the G31 , not many will buy a GT51 if it has no GTX 1070 or 1080 , the GT51 is dead..

At this point I don't even know if I should look into upgrading my G20, it will depend on what the cost for one of these beauties is.

well each 1080 is about £600ish so x2 = £1200 and the cost of the system, my guess £2k+ so unless your planning to spend that much, maybe just buy 1080 and put that into your system, the new g31 is gonna be main 4k game playing so unless you tend to play 1080p, then upgrade to a 1080 at least for now

it might cost 3000 CAD i'm guessing if it includes 2 GTX 1080s in SLI maybe 4K i'm just guessing we'll have to wait and see. I'm upgrading my 980ti to a 1080 and selling my less than a year old Card for $500 to my friend

First: SLI is dead. Didn´t you know ? Well, maybe not for VR, but VR is nothing to enjoy for most of us right now, yet.
Second: This machine is fat, what´s the point then ? Get an MSI Vortex instead, asa the 1080s are availabe...

You can't kill something that was never released.
I've been waiting for months to buy the GT51ca...but I've yet to see one for sale.
