USB mouse

Hi i have a temperamental mouse ,, Cougar 700m .
Every now and again it stops moving when i am playing BF 4 , so i have unplug it and replug in another USB plug to get it to work .
The mouse works fine on another PC ?

Any suggestions

Try disabling USB selective suspend in advanced power settings. And make sure you use a usb 2 port.

I have the same issue with my Logitech G502 where Left clicking or clicking in general doesn't work. Prior to upgrading to 3031. My mouse even stays on now when powered off and interestingly enough, still persists in 3003 bios and a fresh windows install.

It will work after I hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and then click cancel tho.

A Update Cougar support says its most likely a USB software error with windows or my MB ?? or possibly with power settings

after viewing event viewer i see several The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device WpdBusEnumRoot\UMB\ , which is the USB driver .
i have latest driver,,, ? any ideas from ASUS
