[Build Log] Project ASTRAY - COMPLETED

Hey guys It's me again! I started this project mod last May 10, 2016. I'm making a build for cooler master case modding competition, this time the past project called Project 45Deg will on pause for a while. I just need to concentrate for this new project and I got only few days to finish it. And it is my first time to join the event, my build is a little inspired with gundam toys. Astray, I caught that name on a gundam toy. And I know that I got only a few weeks to finish this build, I hope that I can make it to the finals.

So the build is now completed, you can see my idea for modding the case. Feel free to comment and suggest.

So before we proceed to modding, let me take a quick post of the chassis.

So this is my initial sketch for the build, I'll add more details once it almost done. I know some of the concept are same with my on going project 45deg.

Ok, I just finished the motherboard bracket.






Next, I will cut the back panel..







Cutting the back panel cover... I used 4.5mm acrylic sheet.

Start to sleeve these cables, I'll make it all black!



I used 3mm black sleeve from PinoyRIGZ.

I just need to cut these grills and replace with a see through acrylic sheet.

Hey guys! I will paint these motherboard heatsinks into white.
I just removed the ROG aluminum logo



Goodbye labels



Painted...




Now I finished the north bridge heatsinks, why just only the north bridge I've done today? because I need to buy some piece of acrylic sheet for the south bridge logo.

Now here is the result. I made some custom vinyl stickers for detailing and not get bored with the plain paint.

I got some little update for my front panel and fans.. I put a fan guard and the I made a custom Astray logo. Hope you'll like it.
