High impedance headphones compatibility

3volts
Level 7
Hello all, i was about to buy some Sennheiser PC 350 Special Edition, which are 150 ohms.
My motherboard is the Crosshair V Formula.
Will the onboard sound chip (Realtek ALC892 i think) support them? I mean, will it power the headphones correctly??

Thanks !!

If the headphone is for PC, it may work
Sincerely,
Legolas

It is for PC, but that doesnt matter, as not all chipsets support high impedance headphones.
Problem is theres no specification of that in the motherboard manual or Realtek webpage.

3volts I sometimes use my pair of www.inearz.com and have zero problems with sound. I would't purchase any "pc" headphones when for 1/10 of the price you can get better quality from
a 14 bucks pair of sony's
