Anybody knows when will the new 17" Strix GL702 be released? The wait is killing me.

I talked to Asus support over chat and all they said was they would release more details on their page closer to the release date. So basically, they're not telling anyone.

I was contemplating to get the GL502 but seeing the 15.6" and compared it to the 17" ROG laptops, I'm sure as hell gonna get the 17".

These two sites claim to have the laptop in stock on 7-15-16 outside of the U.S.

That second link says it has an Nvidia Geforce GTX 970M. If that is real, that's not the one you're looking for. I wouldn't buy it unless it has the 980M or desktop 980.

ASUS Singapore posted a video this past Sunday saying that the GL702 was released with 970M retailing at $2,198.
