    xmp settings

    Changed bios today to 2202 on ROG Maximus viii extreme. Running i7 6700k @4.6 but cannot seem to get my ram to get back up to speed.
    The ram is Team Group 16GB DDR4 3733 CL18-20-20-39 1.35v TXD418G3733HC18ADC01
    Can anybody talk me through it please

    apart from the frequency and timings what else needs to be changed?

    1) Dram Frequency
    2) Dram voltage
    3) Dram Timings

    For 3733MHz ram you will likely have to raise the cpu system agent voltage and cpu vccio voltage for stability. You may also have to increase the Dram voltage a little.

    As I am unable to find published details of the DRAM module you have in your hand, I will suggest to check what's actually recorded in your SPD by going into "Tool\ASUS SPD Information". It will show you exactly what's been recorded in the SPD chip of your DRAM module.

    stock speed is 2133 .. I have tried altering timings, frequency and voltages but am unable to get it to boot ..
