So i just bought a M.2 Samsung drive and wanted to know if i should use the PCI card that came with the system or just plug it into the systemboard itself?

X99-DELUXE/U3.1 - Bios 3101
M.2 Drive - MZ-V5P512BW

I think it is best to connect it to the M2 port.

X99-DELUXE has M.2 slot
You can just plug in and install NVMe Drive

Did that it has been working great!

I just wanted to know other than installing the drivers are there any options in the BIOS i should change to have it run a little better?
