When I haven't played any sound on my laptop for a minute or two, and play a video on youtube or using VLC for example, the sound is suddenly 1.5x higher than it was before (without doing anything). Then when I lower it again using for example the function buttons on my keyboard the sound suddenly drops to it's original state again.

What program or driver is causing my sound to boost up when I don't use it for a while?

It's really really really really really really really really really annoying as I keep having to ajust it.


I'm running:
Windows 10 Home (x64)
Realtek Audio Driver version: 6.0.1.7576

Yes I've actually also had that problem, can't remember what fixed it... But i think:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtek\Audio\RtkNGUI64 \PowerMgnt
the key to -> Enabled: 0

at least fixed one of the many sound problems on G751JY.
