Yes, I've tried both the Samsung NVME drivers and the default windows NVME drivers. Performance is just about the same with either driver.

The 950 pro is a tad faster. When I "validate" a large Steam game file I get a constant 650MB/S on the 950 and with the 850 i get a constant 500MB/S.

This does not seem like that big of an increase though to justify the upgrade. Drive also does not seem as snappy as the 850 Pro.

The 950 will benchmark 2500+/1500+ in Magician, but I've never seen the thing do over 650MB/S outside of a benchmark.

All I can think is either you have a defective 950 Pro, high temps causing throttling or an as of yet unidentified bottleneck in your system.

I've had mine under load for 3 hours now on Perpar3D and it hasn't gotten warmer than 44c with no throttling. I agree with jrmcdou. contact Samsung and RMA that bad boy.
