Hi,

Has anyone tried how well GTA V runs on 4K with 2x1080?

Hi SgtHighway

Performance looks good although in some places it does dip below 60 FPS.

He's running 2 Founder's Edition cards. So with a pair of Strix GTX 1080, you can expect the FPS to be a little better.

Not a great example...SLI bridge doubts...shadowplay effects...memory taxed to the max and beyond...settings could just be overloading memory...

....

not bad

So, dual Titan X(P)'s Then?

Sure...why not...:D

but my point was that dual 1080s will run GTAv at ultra 4K 60fps fine. As long as you don't try to run 8xmsaa or something dumb. 😮

I was just kidding. But say if you wanted to do that stupid 8xmsaa at 4K 60fps+ then, by my guess (aka having no idea and flying by the seat of my pants)
2 titan X(P)'s in SLI shouldn't be limited by that memory cap. Otherwise you're looking at those Quadros with 24gb ram (and cost more than a rig usually.)

Right you are 😮 thought you were but sometimes you don't know on here

Yeah 12GB will allow even the craziest stuff...a pair of titan X pascal might even be bottlenecked by some cpus I believe
