    Default RVE Overclocking Profiles

Hey guys was just wondering if it safe or ok to use the default overclocking profiles that come in the bios of the RVE?

I use my rig for gaming and also encoding videos for Youtube etc.

Is it safe to say stick on the 6 core gaming profile which overclocks all cores and gives extra overclocking on one core for gaming?

Are these safe to use or is there anything i need to look out for when using these?
All replies to my posts are really appreciated, thank you

Depends on the cooling your using. As long as your temps are kept 30c - 50c 24/7 rig you will be fine. Just go over the bios setting as you may be able to lower those voltages a bit. Some times auto OC tends to bump up the voltage. What board / rig / OC settings are we talking about?

Just noticed your system spec. what OC ? the H110 should be good to 4400 mhz to keep those temps in check.

    Default overclocking profiles are OK.
Only voltage is always more than really need.
My CPU work on default voltage on 4.0GHz but if I use default profile than voltage under load will go on arround 1.200V.
On 4.2GHz is even higher... a lot. People usually could pull 4.3-4.4GHz with same voltage.
Best option is to OC and than to tune voltage and cache as you like.

I have to say I'm impressed by the 5-way optimization. It got me to an overclock I didn't think was possible on my chip. Steady as a rock under stress test.

Very nice how it has improved.

Yes. Just make sure you monitor your temperatures during stress tests.

All CPU's and MOBO's are a little different from one an another so thats were tweaking comes to play. (Finding your sweet spot) Fastest OC at the lowest temps / voltages
    Have fun

    Will start on cpu soooon.

Managed to get my GPU working great. It is a very good GTX980 as it is. Being an Inno3D Herculez x4 Air Boss Ultra <---- would want to be with that name lmao. It comes with a factory overclock of 1266MHz clock and 7200MHz Memory. I have it now running with no problems after benchmarking and stress testing plus a couple of days gaming e.g., Black Ops 3 with ultra everything in settings with constant 144FPS on my 144Hz Monitor. It is overclocked @ 1527.5MHz constant boost and 7603MHz Memory which i have to say is AWESOME for a GTX980
