1070 strix oc fan revving issue

Hi,

I recently purchased a 1070 strix oc and so far im very happy with it. It does however have a annoying issue when i play games that are not very demanding. The fans will keep revving all the time like this. Is this going to get fixed in a future bios update?
I allready tried adjusting the fan profile so the fans won't start spinning until 65 degrees C, but all that does is pospone the issue for a bit longer since it will reach 65 degrees eventually in passive mode and then it starts doing the same thing at 65 degrees C.

Right you are...I know that was a problem with early cards/drivers but they reckoned the driver would sort it...

Maybe keep playing with different custom fan curves for now...see if anyone else with that card has similar problems or if not maybe an RMA....it is advertised as pretty silent

I found out that it's not temperature related. It's just the 15-25% fanspeed that does it. http://i.imgur.com/HAf8GC9.png Do u think this is a faulty card?

Probably a "faulty" fan controller, i have this issue with my 1060 strix check my post https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?87959-GTX-1060-STRIX-Owners-is-this-normal&p=611237#post61...
It doesn't have any impact on performance really but it annoys me so i'm refunding my card and getting the msi version, hope they don't use the same fan controllers.

same issue here.

Fans rev between idle and 17xx rpms, or only one fan spin to 100% under load, the other two are completely still..

Very frustrating. I honestly just want a swap.. can't wait months for ASUS to fix this in RMA.
