Is it possible to sync the motherboard and LED strips with the graphics card?

Welcome to the ROG forum !

I was thinking the same thing it would be nice to sync the gpu with the motherboard and LED strips but unfortunately with my testing it seems the gpu is on its own.

I received update yesterday that we're working on a new software that will sync the Aura features between the Aura-ready graphics cards and motherboards. This will be available soon but right now there's no ETA provided, all I'm told is that our software development team is working on this.

Sorry for bringing an old thread, but I'd like to ask if an Aura enabled graphics card will be able to be synced with a non-Aura enabled motherboard, like the Z170 Deluxe ?

How can you sync the LED's if the motherboard doesn't have the Aura lighting?

The Aura lighting control on the gpu will work fine. 🙂

Well, the motherboard has built-in RGB LEDs but they are not called Aura, that's why I'm confused haha.

If the motherboard is not Aura controlled I doubt you can sync them, you can probably set them both to the same color though.
