    Ok,

You'll have to enable overclocking range enhancement, I explain how to do that in the first paragraph of the overclocking guide.

    That looks great !

    GPU Core Clock - 2038MHz
    GPU Memory Clock - 9004MHz
    Max temp - 61c

You may can get more out of the memory, some can overclock to 9400MHz.

I scored 13484 in Superpostion, you blew me away in that benchmark.

    Hello!

I'm a bit late to the overclocking club. Got my Strix 1070 OC in November 2016, and so far it has performed quite well with stock OC mode, but now I decided I wanted to get the best it can give me.

I tried the exact same settings as in the guide in the first page. However, the Memory Clock has been giving me some trouble.

At +1334MHz 9342MHz I couldn't even load Valley, the screen was glitching all over the place and I had to force restart. So I tried to take down the Memory Clock a notch, in steps of 100MHz or so, until I finally landed at +700 8708MHz, where I was able to complete the Valley benchmark without any glitches or stuttering, and seems to be stable.

My ROG Strix 1070 has Micron memory (from what I read in some posts here, I'm guessing that's a bad thing?), and the Vbios is up to date.

Anyway, here's my benchmark score. Note it's an ultra-wide 2560x1080 monitor, so I guess it affects performance a bit. Do you think this is a decent overclock? Am I doing something wrong, or am I just out of luck?

    My specs:

    CPU: Intel i7-6700K
GPU: Asus ROG Strix 1070 OC
    RAM: 32GB G.Skill Aegis DDR4-2133

    Hi Sanorin

+700MHz on the memory is a pretty good overclock, some can overclock further and some overclock less. Where the real performance gain is , is in the gpu boost clock.

Try increasing the gpu boost clock some more.

Hi Nate152, thanks for the suggestion, I will try to increase the gpu boost clock and see how it goes.

I see some people in earlier posts reached something like +113 1948MHz. Hopefully I can too.

Yep, some can boost as high as +2100MHz on the boost clock.

Open GPU Tweak II and click Monitor at the bottom left, run a game or a benchmark and check the maximum boost clock. If you can hit 2100MHz you have a gem.

Well, I think these are the highest settings I can do before I start to get some freezes or glitches. Looks like I can't hit 2100MHz, but I guess it's not so bad

Oh, I have a question (sorry if it's a dumb question): if I overclock my 6700K, which I haven't got around to do yet, would I get better results?

That looks good Sanorin, you hit 2063MHz and gained 10 FPS in the benchmark.

You may get a small increase in the score overclocking your cpu.
