You should start a thread here in the Nvidia graphics card section and post your results before and after the vbios update and yes please post them here too.

Explain how you updated the vbios and how easy it was.

For you guys OCing and trying to hit the highest benchmark results I've found the best results with Nvidia's 376.09 drivers.

So I've got latest OC version bios on non OC version card and it didn't help with memory OC, but I got higher power draw limit (120%) which certainly helps with keeping clocks higher.

My final stable OC is 2012-2065 on core and 4550 on memory.

Here goes end result in FireStrike :

Tbh, I'm not that impressed with 1070, because 980TI is cheaper and has better results. For example as for FireStrike, ppl are getting 22000 GPU score with OC, I can't even hit 20000

And on top of it I have Asus card with all the magical super non human error components and the coils are still whining damn it, I hate that noise.

That's the highest I could get my memory as well on Micron, what is your CPU and what is it's clock speed? I've been tweaking my PC for the past week trying to hit the best score I could.

EDIT: Well I reverted my BIOS back to the standard non OC model and I was able to clock my memory to 4514 pushing the 9000MHz boundry on Micron!

If all is good try and push a little higher in small increments and keep testing with unigine valley.

Please post us a screen shot of your GPU Tweak settings, that is a very nice score.
Hi Nate, Just want to ask if you increase the core clock to know the borderline value, does the crashing happens on the desktop or this happens only when running Uningine Valley?

Also, I moved the memory clock to 9300 and did not notice yet so far when playing Ryse:Son of Rome on full settings 1080p with super sampling and anisotropic maxed.

So my second question is that if its safe to keep it raising bit by bit until I get the artifacting and the crashing so that I can get a borderline value?

By the way, My CPU is still G4400 3.3Ghz (will replace this to i7 in a few weeks) and have not tried running the Uningine Valley yet. I will try later and see where the card's limit is.

Yep just keep increasing the clocks until you get artifacting or the nvidia driver crashes then back down your overclock a little until the artifacting or crashing stops.

We're looking forward to your results.

That's a decent score with the G4400 cpu.

Try running the benchmark at 2560 x 1440, ultra settings and no antialiasing and see what you get.

Trying, No matter how I set and launch it at 2560 x 1440, The results always show 1080p and the wrong windows version.
