    Thank you and Wow !

Congratulations, you got one of the best overclocking Strix 1070's you can get.

If your games are stable, you can call it good there.

    Temp looks good at 65c.

Very very nice, this is what we like to see !

As of now the latest Nvidia driver is 416.34

    https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driv...x/138697/en-us

GPU Tweak II version 1.8.3.5 has the option for On Screen Display to see readings while playing games. This is a beta and just a taste of what's to come, the GPU Tweak II team is working on additions and improvements. I'm looking forward to the next one.

Scroll down to the first .zip file in white.

    https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...esting-Program

You can show your overclocks in games with the OSD if you want. Record with shadowplay, upload it to you tube then post it here. If you don't have a Youtube account you can make one for free. Or a screenshot of GPU Tweak II is fine.

I added the ROG Logo and "The Choice of Champions"

Hello Nate152, thanks for your tutorial, it has been very helpful.
I had a Gigabyte 970 G1 Gaming that has given the relief to my new Asus Strix 1070 Ti Advanced to be able to move content to 4K HDR in better shape, and reading many reviews almost all arrive at the same conclusion ... which has very overclock among others good features of this spectacular Graphics Card. I had never inquired into this question and I have to say that thanks to your tutorial I have been very satisfied, I only have a few questions:

If I leave the factory fans and I do not make the profile, there are risks that the components suffer. For me they make noise that at night with low volume is a bit annoying and they interrupt the listening of a game at low volume.
Instead of leaving the fans at 70% at 60º I leave it at 65º can errors arise or damage components?
I dare not try for myself ...

Here I leave the result of my configuration and results with Unigine Valley:

In real games I have only tried the Gears Of War 4 to 4K without Antialiasing, and in the Benchmark there is an improvement of 7 to 8 Fps.
In the start menu step from 42 to 49 stable Fps, the image looks smooth.

    Thanks for everything.

    Greetings.

    Hi HeroVII

65c is perfectly fine, when temps get too high GPU Boost 3.0 will throttle the gpu voltage and clock speed to protect itself.

    Your overclock looks good.

Max GPU Boost clock - 2068MHz
    Max Memory Clock - 9356MHz
    Max temp - 65c

At 1440p you can expect about a 10 FPS gain overclocking the Strix 1070, a 7-8 FPS gain at 4k is very good.

Thank you for sharing your overclock.

Nate152, what do you think about setting the Memory Clock, lower and not to exceed 110% of the Power Target ?, as shown here, for example:

    https://www.overclockersclub.com/gui...oc_guide/2.htm

You told me that my overclock is good but what interests me most is knowing that my components are safe.
    Thanks for your answers.

The Maximum temperature for the 1070 Ti is 94c but at that temp you will be severely thermal throttling.

The Strix gpu's have one of if not the best coolers, as long as you stay below 70c it should hold the clock speed and not thermal throttle.

If you have good air flow inside your case, your other components will be fine too.

If you hit the power target this will also thottle your gpu so I recommend keeping it at 120%.

Looking at your fan curve, your fan looks to be running full throttle at 70c, to keep maximum clock speeds this is how you should have it set.

For maximum gaming performance keep the memory overclocked as far as it will go, as long as it's not artifacting or crashing it's perfectly fine.

    Ok thank you Nate152.
I am more relaxed, that my card will not suffer more wear and that its components and qualities will continue their normal use.

As the last if ever a game crashes the recommendation you give is that we get down two lines in GPU Boost Clock and Memory clock, until it happens, is that so?

That's correct, if it's crashing back off the coverclocks a notch or two.

Do one at a time to determine which is causing the instability. (Boost clock or Memory clock)
