It looks good and you'd have a better score if you had a newer cpu or overclocked it.
    Thanks,
I got that score with my cpu overclocked to 4.6Ghz from 3.2ghz. But yeah it's about time to upgrade my system as well, I am going to wait till the Skylake-x CPU comes out next year thought.

Yeah a new mobo and cpu will definitely boost performance even though what you have now is still good.

    Hi Mazinga

Welcome to the ROG forum !

Congratulations on overclocking your ROG Strix 1070, that is an awesome Micron memory overclock ! You may can get more out of the GPU Boost Clock some are able to get over 2100MHz.

Is your monitor native 1080p? If so here is my score with 1080p, ultra settings and no antialiasing.

This is with my 6700k overclocked to 4.75GHz and the Nvidia control panel set to performance.

    Angry Slows windows 10

After installing this my windows runs very very slow, after rebooting it runs fine again, even when its in the background but after opening it windows slows down. everything responds very slowly, the animations on the taskbar are very slow and it takes for my hidden icons in the bottom right to show very long.

    using any version causes this

EDIT: also I can't change the fan speed, it wont let me move the dot. And after overclocking and testing the fans went mental, screen got gray squares and the app crashes, which after my windows started running normally again but I the test keeps crashing after 1-3 seconds

    Thx Nate!
I am new to my new computer set.
The first since 2008 when I last bought new parts.
So now it feels as if I have to start from scratch when it comes overclocking. =)

My monitor is not a game monitor so that's probably why
3DMark did not at all with these settings. =(

    Hi hypnotizedjelly

Are you saying GPU Tweak II slows your pc down?

I will suggest uninstalling it and installing the latest version which is 1.4.0.8

Select your operating system then utilities.

    http://www.asus.com/us/Graphics-Card...Desk_Download/

I will also suggest installing the latest nvidia driver 376.09 if you don't already have it.

This is for windows 10 64-bit

    http://www.nvidia.com/download/drive...x/111830/en-us

Let us know if this fixes the problem.

If it doesn't help please list your complete pc specs.

If your gpu has micron memory, the memory may not overclock as far, you can check this in GPU - Z under Memory Type.

Wow you should notice a big performance increase with your new pc, overclocking is still basically the same except on the motherboards we don't have the the Front Side Bus, we now have the BCLK.
