I'm not sure if you can just run the .exe or not but that sure would make it easy, let me see if I can find something.

Here is a little guide I found.

Thanks for confirming Fisker as I said I've never updated the vbios, let us know how easy flashing the vbios was Simduch and if it helped you get a better memory overclock.

No problem, it's basically one click thing with the Asus utility. Normal flashing is done via nvFlash and that is slightly more complicated, but still pretty easy.

Fantastic, we're looking forward to hearing how easy flashing the bios was and if it gave you a higher memory overclock.

Ok, went home finally... just to test ;-) easy install with one double clic. it does by itself all the things nvflash would have done. Gave it a test after reboot and... VOILA i cant put mem to 1000 without white chess squares all over the screen ;-)

Will dig more tonite but so far soooo good !

You got your micron memory to 9000MHz?

You're only the third person I've seen hit 9000MHz with micron memory and wow what a difference it made updating the vbios, thank you Asus for making it as easy as possible.

    That's awesome SimDuch,

I hope more people see your results from updating the vbios, what was it +250MHz on the memory before the vbios update and +1000MHz after the vbios update ? Not only did Asus keep it simple, they made the right changes.

Yes I will post some screenshot too soon ! +250 was the most I could get before, pushing it further would make it crashed or even slowing my fps..in some cases. Now I cranked it all the way to +1000 just for testing and Firestrike ran without crashing. It was a quick test, let me deep in and I'll be back with some news

    Cheers
