GPU Brace?

My 1080 strix is sagging. Anyone have any ideas on how to add some support to the rear? I'm looking for something as minimal as possible, and all black.

What type of cable management are you using. May be support the rear of the card by tightening the power cables. this should not take very much force at all to support the card.
Just a thought

Hi dlwilliams,
Here's a past thread that may help to give you some new ideas. Anyone adding a GPU support for cards?

No need to talk in metaphors these days it's not something to be ashamed of

I'd probably just reorient the cables so they pull upward on the corner of the card...

I might have to try moving the power cables up. I don't think there is any danger in the sag, but the aesthetics kind of drive me crazy.

I use the pcie power cable for my 970 strix.

It's cable tied vertically to the drive cage with the last tie a few millimeters higher than the plane of the card. The pcie cable is then bent around into the connector on the card with no spare length.

This provides just enough upwards pressure to keep the card level in the socket.
