Hi guys.

I live in Italy and, as of lately, I found something interesting browsing the web.

Apparently the famous gk2000 has launched?! It's available in some italian shops (not too many). Why is Asus so silent about it? And most importantly... is this it's final price? I mean... I'm sure it's a great keyboard hands down but... 270 euros is quite an uncompetitive point I might dare to say... especially since it's not RGB.
But even though it's not RGB I'm quite interested in this keyboard because of it's unique look and, most probably, it's high quality construction.
I mainly have 2 questions about this keyboard:
1. Is this it's final price?
2. Why asus kept it a "secret" by not advertising it more?

I don't think we tried to make the product release a secret as this product was in the making for 2 years and some users forgot about it but we did do the normal things and put out the press release and inform the media. Unfortunately we don't have information on the pricing of products as it differs from country to country and even more so for higher end products such as the GK2000. I would recommend that you contact the major retailers or distributors in your country to find out if they will be carrying this model in the future and also if they can provide you with the pricing.

Thank you for the great advice @Bahz! I shall contact Asus Italy through facebook(?) and ask them about this product. It's strange because I can't find it in the official asus store http://www.asustore.it/88-mouse-e-tastiere-asus

Sorry for the late reply, yes Facebook reps are actually sales or marketing reps so they'll be able to obtain pricing information for you usually.
