I don't trust Windows 10 with device driver updates so in advanced system settings I made sure to turn that off. Is it necessary to install the rest of these chipset drivers and what is this update for? My system is completely stable besides this issue https://forums.geforce.com/default/t...xiting-a-game/ which I think is more of an Nvidia driver problem so I don't really wanna mess around with new chipset drivers. Currently I'm on BIOS 1701.

*Update It looks like Windows has already installed the latest MEI: V11.0.5.1189 for me

Looks like I'm still on the older Chipset Version though V10.1.1.7 with the update being to Intel_Chipset_V10.1.1.27

This is NOT ofiicial Intel drivers........

On Asus support page the drivers are official, so it is recommended to download from Asus and NOT the link you provide.
    I'll rest my case.

You have just broke my patience, nobody told you to obligatory update with the drivers linked above, everybody are free to do what they want and this is true for everyone else that accused me on this forum.
I have checked all the sources, the drivers are all legit and WHQL. Please, dear emsir, you don't know anything about me, you don't know how many years i use a computer, you don't know my studies in IT, so, next time, before insult someone, make sure you are in position to do so.

@flocons, i approciate your effort in writing a so long post to help me understand your view, it was not the case, we are IT enthusiasts, we know what to do, otherwise we would not have bought a gaming/pro hardware.

New member here. I'm using an Asus Z170-Deluxe and I also have the ACPI\PNP0A0B\2&daba3ff&1 unknown device issue.

Anyone managing to fix it with their systems?

And of course we'll never know what's actually new in this BIOS update, cuz ASUS changelogs only say "Improve system stability".
